“The RS is Tomcat's 36-volt micro rider, built smaller than many 24-volt walk-behinds at 48 inches long and 24 inches wide. This one carries the 24-inch cylindrical deck: two cylindrical brushes on a 0.75 hp motor at 750 rpm that scrub and pick up light debris in one pass. Tomcat aims the cylindrical RS at healthcare tile, grout lines and rubber floors.
What stands out is how much fits in that size: 22 gallons of solution and 23 of recovery, a 1.0 hp vacuum, and a U-turn in 50 inches. The frame is powder-coated steel with non-marking tires and bumper wheels, the seat tips up for battery access, and a drain saver basket keeps debris out of floor drains. Tomcat built the RS with off-the-shelf parts to keep service simple.
The trade-off: Tomcat rates it at up to 4 hours of run time, and cylindrical brushes don't run pads, so polished VCT that needs pad work suits a disk rider such as the Tomcat PRO-HD 26. This listing is a reconditioned unit.”
