“The MiniMag Edge swaps the usual round disk for Tomcat's Edge orbital head, a rectangular pad that oscillates at high speed. Tomcat built it to strip floor finish using water and a prep pad instead of chemical stripper, to prepare floors for recoat and to wet-screen wood gym floors. This one has a 24-inch path, sized for classrooms, hallways and retail floors.
What stands out is what the orbital head avoids: no stripper on the floor, less water thrown out from under the pad, and square corners that reach baseboards better than a round pad. The MiniMag carries 17 gallons of solution and 17 of recovery on a 24-volt system, with a fully cleanable recovery tank and a drain saver basket that keeps debris out of floor drains.
The trade-off: the Edge head runs rectangular pads, so round pads from a disk scrubber won't carry over, and it doesn't sweep. If routine daily scrubbing is the whole job, a disk scrubber is the simpler choice. This listing is a reconditioned unit.”

Its rectangular pad oscillates at high speed, which Tomcat designed for removing floor finish with water instead of chemical stripper, wet-screening wood gym floors and preparing floors for recoat. The square pad corners reach into corners and along baseboards.
The MiniMag carries 17 gal (64 L) of solution and 17 gal (64 L) of recovery, with flow adjustable up to 1.0 gpm. A 0.75 hp vacuum motor rated at 70 in of water lift and 70 cfm recovers the water through a 1.25 gal demisting chamber. It runs on a 24 V battery system, and the recovery tank is fully cleanable.
