“The Super HalfVac is ProTeam's hip-worn vacuum. Instead of a full backpack frame, the 6-quart body rides on a waist belt, with shoulder straps you can use or fold away. It fits cleaners working around furniture in offices, classrooms and similar spaces, and operators who find a full backpack harness bulky.
ProTeam designed the harness to be worn three ways: with both shoulder straps, with one strap, or with the waist belt alone, and it recommends both straps for extended use so the weight stays on the hips. For smaller users, the right side of the waist belt folds in. The switch box sits near the left hip for quick power access. Filtration starts with an Intercept Micro filter bag and a washable micro cloth filter, and ProTeam lists replacement bags, filters and harness parts for it.
The trade-off is capacity. Six quarts means more frequent emptying than a 10-quart backpack. If you want a full backpack harness or a larger body, look at ProTeam's GoFit series. This is a reconditioned unit, so ask which hose, wand and tools come with it.”

The ProTeam Super HalfVac is a corded hip vacuum with a 6-quart capacity. The unit is worn on a waist belt so its weight is carried on the hips, and the shoulder straps can be used together, one at a time, or folded down so only the waist belt is worn. ProTeam recommends both shoulder straps for extended use, and the switch box sits near the operator's left hip.
Filtration starts with a disposable Intercept Micro filter bag (open- or closed-collar), followed by a washable micro cloth filter and a dome filter. The vacuum runs on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and ProTeam lists replacement filter bags, micro cloth and dome filters, and waist belt parts for the Super HalfVac.
