Reconditioned Pioneer Eclipse PE400BU 21" Propane Burnisher
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The PE400BU is a propane burnisher for large, open hard floors with finish on them, where a cord slows the crew down. This 21-inch version spins its pad at 2,000 rpm, and Pioneer Eclipse rates it at 25,000 square feet per hour, so it suits grocery and big-box stores, school corridors and similar spaces that get burnished on a schedule.
A 603 cc Kawasaki propane engine with electric start does the work. For indoor propane use, the feature that matters most is SAFR, Pioneer Eclipse's closed-loop air-fuel control that keeps carbon monoxide output low even as the air filter gets dirty, along with a muffler system that exceeds EPA and CARB minimums. Rok-Bak lets the operator tilt the machine back to change pads, and moving the soft-tread wheels adjusts pad pressure.
Two cautions. It is a burnisher only, not a stripping or scrubbing machine, and propane takes trained operators, good ventilation and a steady supply of 20-pound vapor-withdrawal cylinders; Pioneer Eclipse says not to use it in hospitals, nursing homes or day-care centers. The 21-inch deck is easier to steer through aisles than the 28-inch model. Ask which options and cylinder come with this reconditioned unit.”

Propane burnishing with closed-loop emissions control.
The PE400BU is Amano Pioneer Eclipse's propane floor burnisher; this 21-inch version spins its pad at 2,000 rpm and is rated at 25,000 sq ft per hour (2,300 m²/hr). Power comes from a 603 cc air-cooled Kawasaki FS481V propane engine, rated at 18 HP on the data sheet, with electric start from a 12 V sealed AGM battery.
SAFR (Safer Air Fuel Ratio) is a closed-loop system that holds the air-to-fuel ratio as the air filter gets dirty, helping keep carbon monoxide output low, and the muffler system exceeds EPA and CARB minimum requirements. Rok-Bak engineering lets the operator tilt the machine back to change pads, and the 'Hot @ 4 o'clock' setup keeps it running true and straight. It weighs 187 lb without its 20 lb propane cylinder.
Not included: Propane fuel, sold separately.
