Demo Pioneer Eclipse PE400BU 21" Propane Burnisher
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The PE400BU is a propane burnisher for large, open floors with finish on them, the kind of square footage where a cord slows the crew down. This 21-inch unit spins its pad at 2,000 rpm, and Pioneer Eclipse rates it at 25,000 square feet per hour, so it suits grocery and big-box retail, school corridors and similar spaces that get burnished on a schedule.
Under the hood is a 603 cc Kawasaki propane engine with electric start. The feature that matters most for indoor propane use is SAFR, a closed-loop air-fuel control that keeps emissions low even when the air filter is dirty, backed by a catalytic muffler. Pad changes are quick with the Rok-Bak tilt-back deck, and moving the soft-tread wheels adjusts pad pressure.
Two cautions. This is a burnisher only, not a stripping or scrubbing machine, and at under 89 dB(A) it is louder than a battery burnisher, so it fits after-hours work better than occupied spaces. Because this is a demo unit, ask us about its engine hours and options before you buy.”
“Ordered a demo model scrubber, they were very responsive to work out the shipping to our residence, got the scrubber 7 days after the purchase and the machine works great, very happy!” — Lynn H., Google review
Propane burnishing with closed-loop emissions control.
The PE400BU is Amano Pioneer Eclipse's propane floor burnisher, and this listing is a demo unit of the 21-inch version. It spins its pad at 2,000 rpm and is rated at 25,000 sq ft per hour (2,300 m²/hr). Power comes from a 603 cc air-cooled Kawasaki FS481V propane engine, rated at 18 HP on the spec sheet, with electric start from a 12 V sealed AGM battery.
SAFR (Safer Air Fuel Ratio) is a closed-loop system that keeps emissions low even when the air filter is dirty, and the catalytic muffler exceeds EPA and CARB minimum requirements. Rok-Bak engineering lets the operator tilt the machine back to change pads, and moving the soft-tread wheels toward the rear increases pad pressure. It runs on a 20 lb vapor-withdrawal propane cylinder and is designed for commercial floor burnishing only.
Not included: Propane fuel and burnishing pads.
Features:
- 603 cc Kawasaki propane engine drives a 21-in pad at 2,000 rpm
- SAFR closed-loop air-fuel control; catalytic muffler exceeds EPA and CARB minimums
- Rok-Bak tilt-back deck for pad changes
- Adjustable soft-tread wheels set pad pressure
- Height-adjustable handle, hour meter/tachometer and electric start
