“The Saber Compact 20 is a straightforward 20-inch battery walk-behind scrubber for daily hard-floor cleaning in schools, offices, small retail and clinics. The pad or brush turns at 200 rpm and helps pull the machine forward (brush assist), so there is no drive motor to maintain, and solution feeds by gravity through a fully variable control.
What stands out for its size is tank capacity: 13 gallons of solution and 16 gallons of recovery let an operator cover a good stretch of floor between refills and dumps. Separate 0.75 hp brush and vacuum motors run on a 24-volt system with two 12-volt batteries, and the 31-inch squeegee and 45-inch U-turn width keep it workable in corridors and classrooms.
The trade-off is effort. Without traction drive the operator does part of the pushing, and Windsor rates it for only a 2% climb, so ramps and long runs favor a traction model. At 72.5 dBA it is not a quiet machine. This is a reconditioned unit; ask us which batteries and charger it has.”
