“The BD 50/70 R Bp is a compact ride-on scrubber for facilities that want to ride but have walk-behind sized spaces: retail aisles, school corridors, healthcare and office buildings. At 52 inches long and 23 inches wide, it turns easily and gives the operator a clear view of the floor ahead.
A single 20-inch disc brush or pad cleans at 155 rpm with 56 pounds of down pressure, and the 33.5-inch squeegee picks up behind it. The 18-gallon solution and 20-gallon recovery tanks run on a 24-volt battery system with up to 2.5 hours of run time, and Kärcher rates practical productivity at 18,830 square feet per hour. The seat is built for full shifts, the controls are simple to learn, and the Homebase system keeps common tools on the machine.
The trade-off is capacity. For long runs in big-box stores or warehouses, a larger rider with a wider path and bigger tanks will finish sooner. This is a demo unit.”
