“The Bolt 20 is a 20-inch, 175 rpm low-speed floor machine for scrubbing and stripping, the restorative work that comes before new finish goes down. It suits janitorial crews and contract cleaners who maintain hard floors in schools, offices and retail space, and it runs a 20-inch pad on the included pad driver or an optional brush.
Windsor built the Bolt with a 1.5 hp motor, separate start and run capacitors, a cord strain relief and a stronger handle housing, plus a mechanical safety interlock and a built-in circuit breaker. The handle height adjusts for different operators, the 50-foot cord gives good reach, and 5-inch non-marking wheels make it easy to roll between jobs. Windsor rates practical productivity at 2,222 square feet per hour.
The trade-off is speed. At 175 rpm it is a scrub and strip machine, not a burnisher, so pair it with a high-speed burnisher if you need a gloss. An optional 4-gallon solution tank is available for wet scrubbing. This is a reconditioned unit.”
