“The Slider SL10BOX is a box-style extractor for crews who clean carpet with a wand: offices, schools, medical buildings and apartment turnovers, where stairs, small rooms and furniture make a walk-behind awkward. The 10-gallon solution tank and 7-gallon recovery tank cover a fair amount of carpet between trips to the sink, and the 15-foot hoses let the machine sit in the hallway while the operator works the room.
What stands out is the vacuum side. A 3-stage, 5.7-inch tangential-discharge motor rated at 118 inches of waterlift and 71 cfm pulls water back out of the carpet, paired with a 100 psi pump. At 70 pounds with the wand, it rolls easily, the clamshell body opens for service, and the fingertip controls keep things simple. The 3.5-inch clear hand tool handles stairs and tight spots.
The trade-off is speed on big open areas: a 12-inch wand covers ground slowly compared with a self-contained machine. If most of the work is wide-open carpet, look at a self-contained extractor such as the Viper CEX410. This is a reconditioned unit.”
