“The AS850R is Viper's 32-inch rider for facilities that have outgrown a walk-behind: schools, supermarkets, hotels and warehouses with open hard floors. Viper aims it at areas larger than 50,000 square feet, and the 31-gallon solution and recovery tanks let an operator cover a lot of that ground between refills. Two 16-inch discs turn at 204 rpm with 80 pounds of down pressure, which suits routine scrubbing on tile, vinyl, marble and concrete.

What stands out is how simple it is to run. One-touch scrubbing, four solution flow rates, a drive pedal with the parking brake built in, and manual levers for the deck and squeegee keep training short. The squeegee hangs on the machine for moving through narrow areas, and a USB port and front bumper are standard.

The trade-off is that this is a straightforward mid-size rider, not a heavy industrial machine. Top speed is 3.7 mph, and if you need more coverage per pass, the 39-inch AS1050R with 53-gallon tanks is the next step up. This listing is a demo unit.”

The Viper AS850R is a medium-sized ride-on scrubber, and this listing is a demo unit. It cleans a 32-inch path with two 16-inch brushes or pads turning at 204 rpm under 80 lb of pressure, powered by two 0.4 hp brush motors. Solution and recovery tanks each hold 31 gallons (120 L), and a 0.67 hp three-stage vacuum motor handles water pickup.

Viper rates the AS850R for hard floor areas larger than 50,000 sq ft, with a theoretical maximum of 55,218 sq ft per hour at a top speed of 3.7 mph, on tile, vinyl, sealed wood, marble and concrete. The seat has an operator detection safety switch, the drive pedal includes electronic braking with a parking brake, and the dashboard uses single-touch buttons.
