“The Advolution 20B is a 36-volt battery burnisher with a 20-inch pad spinning at 2,000 rpm. With no cord to manage, operators can burnish long hallways, lobbies and store aisles without hunting for outlets or dragging a cord through doorways, which makes it a good fit for facilities that keep a high-gloss finish on large hard floors.
It is a pad-assist machine: the turning pad helps pull it forward and the operator guides it, rather than a traction motor doing the driving. Pad pressure is set at the factory for most pad and finish combinations, so operators don't have to adjust it, and Advance rates it at 24,000 square feet per hour at 68 dBA. Dust collects in a bag on top of the control housing.
The trade-off is weight: 487 pounds with wet batteries or 600 with AGM, so ramps and long trips between areas take more effort than with a traction-drive model like the 20BT. Because this is a reconditioned unit, ask which batteries are installed and how they test.”

The Advance Advolution 20B is a 36-volt walk-behind battery burnisher with a 20-inch (51 cm) pad that turns at 2,000 rpm. It uses pad assist propulsion, where the turning pad helps pull the machine forward. Advance rated it at a polishing rate of 24,000 sq ft per hour and a sound level of 68 dBA.
Pad pressure is factory set for most pad and finish combinations and can be adjusted by a qualified service technician. The machine runs on three 12-volt batteries, wet or AGM depending on configuration, charged by a 36-volt, 25-amp charger; ask your sales rep which batteries are installed in this unit. Dust collects in a bag on top of the control housing.
