“The Comfort Pak 10 is a backpack vacuum built around its harness. Clarke says the frame was designed by backpackers, with padded shoulder straps and lumbar support that put most of the weight on the hips, and the exhaust is directed up and away from the operator. That makes it a good fit for crews vacuuming offices, classrooms, stores and stairways for long stretches.
It has real suction for its size: a 1,300 W motor rated at 144 cfm and 99 inches of water lift, a 10-quart capacity and 4-stage filtration, with HEPA available as an option. At 62 dB A it is quiet enough for occupied spaces, and the swivel hose, belt-mounted switch and adhesive bag closure make day-to-day use easier.
The honest trade-off is weight. At 10.8 pounds without the cord it is the heavier of the two Comfort Pak sizes, so smaller operators may prefer the 6-quart Comfort Pak 6 at 9.3 pounds. This is a demo unit.”

The Clarke Comfort Pak 10 is a corded backpack vacuum with a 10-quart (9.5 L) capacity. Its frame, designed by backpackers, uses padded shoulder straps and lumbar support to carry most of the weight on the hips while letting air flow across the operator's back, and exhaust air is directed upward and away from the operator. It weighs 10.8 lb (4.9 kg) without the cord.
A 1,300 W, 10 A motor delivers 144 cfm of airflow and 99 inches of water lift, with 4-stage filtration and an optional HEPA filter. It is rated at 62 dB A. The swivel hose works for left- or right-hand use, the on/off switch sits on the belt, and an adhesive bag closure keeps bag changes clean. Clarke states the Comfort Pak is CRI Green Label approved.
