“The CS7000 Fuel Cell is a full-size rider sweeper-scrubber built for warehouses, distribution centers and plants that already fuel their forklifts with hydrogen. Instead of an LP engine or a large battery pack, it is designed around a Plug Power GenDrive 2300 hybrid fuel cell, which Advance describes as emission-free indoors.
What stands out is that sweeping and scrubbing are independent systems. Dual side brooms and a 36-inch main broom sweep a 61-inch path into a 7 cubic foot hopper that dumps as high as 60 inches, while three 17-inch discs scrub a 48-inch path behind them. The 75-gallon solution and recovery tanks and up to 400 pounds of scrub pressure suit long runs on heavily soiled concrete.
The honest trade-off is the fuel. Without hydrogen fueling and a GenDrive fuel cell on site, this machine does not fit, and a battery or LP sweeper-scrubber is the simpler choice. It is also big: 103 inches long with a 104-inch aisle turn. This is a reconditioned unit.”

The Advance CS7000 Fuel Cell is a rider combination sweeper-scrubber that runs on a Plug Power GenDrive 2300 hybrid fuel cell. Advance built it fuel-cell ready for operations that already use hydrogen fuel cells. All sweeping and scrubbing functions use electronically controlled electric drives, with an electrically driven hydraulic unit only for raising and lowering the hopper, and the drive motors and actuators are rated IP55.
Up front, dual side brooms and a 36 x 12.2-inch main broom sweep a 61-inch (154 cm) path into a 7 cu ft (198 L) hopper that dumps at up to 60 inches. Behind them, three 17-inch discs scrub a 48-inch (122 cm) path with up to 400 lb of down pressure, fed by 75-gallon (285 L) solution and recovery tanks. A Donaldson filter with an automatic shaker controls dust.
Not included: Plug Power GenDrive 2300 fuel cell, not included (Advance supplied this model fuel-cell ready).
