The Advance PBU 21KBCAT spins a 21-inch pad at 2,100 rpm, driven by a 603cc Kawasaki V-Twin engine, so it is a high-gloss maintenance machine for finished floors, not a stripping or scrubbing machine.
Advance built the PBU series with a one-piece cast deck and frame under a powder-coat finish, plus an adjustable handle. The 21KBCAT is the non-dust-control version, which keeps it at 212 pounds, well under the 292 pounds of the dust-control 21KBCATCLDC.
Be realistic about what propane requires: trained operators, good ventilation, regular oil checks and a steady supply of propane cylinders. With no dust control, burnishing dust stays on the floor, so plan for dust mopping afterward. If propane doesn't fit your building, a battery burnisher is the better choice. This is a reconditioned unit, so ask your sales rep what comes with it, such as the propane cylinder and pad driver.”

Advance built the PBU series with a rugged one-piece cast deck and frame and a powder-coat finish that resists damage, plus an adjustable handle for the operator. Within the series, Advance also offered 21-inch and 27-inch dust-control models and versions with catalytic mufflers or CARB Gard emissions control; the 21KBCAT is the 21-inch model without dust control.
