Reconditioned Advance VL500 75 ERGO 19 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum

“The VL500 75 is the largest of Advance's three VL500 wet/dry vacuums, with a 19-gallon tank for jobs where a lot of water has to come up: picking up stripper slurry behind a floor machine, large spills, and general wet and dry pickup in schools, healthcare facilities and offices. It runs on standard 120 V power with a 50-foot cord.
The ERGO tip-n-pour design is the feature to look at. It lets the operator tip the tank to pour it out instead of lifting it, and a drain hose is also on board. One filter system handles wet and dry pickup without a filter change: a washable cartridge filter keeps water away from the motor, a float panel stops overflow, and a mesh wet filter breaks up foam. The motor head is hinged for access.
The trade-off is size. At 61 pounds and 41 inches tall, it is more machine than a small office needs; the 9-gallon VL500 35 is easier to carry. This is a reconditioned unit, so confirm which tools come with it and whether it has a front-mount squeegee.”

The Advance VL500 75 ERGO is the 19-gallon (75 L) model in Advance's VL500 wet/dry vacuum line. Advance designed it for picking up wet matter when stripping floors with a floor machine and for general wet and dry cleanup. Its ERGO tip-n-pour design makes emptying the tank easier, and it also has a drain hose, a hinged motor head, an adjustable handle and a folding transport handle.
One filter system handles both wet and dry pickup. A waterproof, washable dry cartridge filter keeps water away from the motor, a red float panel prevents overflow, and a blue mesh wet filter dissipates foam; the filter lifts out for rinsing. The 120 V motor (1,100 W Pmax) produces 101 CFM of airflow and 72 inches of water lift at the nozzle, and the vacuum runs at 82 dB A.
