“The Advolution 20 is a cord-electric burnisher for facilities that keep a gloss on hard floors in smaller or busier spaces, like schools, healthcare and hospitality buildings, offices and religious facilities. It runs a 20-inch pad at 1,500 rpm and is rated at 62.1 dB A, so daytime burnishing around people is realistic.
Two design details stand out. Flex Floor Technology mounts the motor on a pivot so the pad follows the contours of the floor, and a gas spring regulates head pressure, so results depend less on how experienced the operator is. The 75-foot safety yellow cord releases from a rotating hook all at once, the SafeStart button only works with the handle in the operating position, and the EZ Store handle folds for closet storage and pad changes.
The trade-offs: it is a 1,500 rpm machine without dust control, and the cord limits how far it travels. For higher speed with dust control, look at the Advolution 20XP, and for large open floors a battery burnisher covers more ground.”

The Advance Advolution 20 is a cord-electric floor burnisher with a 20-inch (51 cm) pad that turns at 1,500 rpm. Its 1.5 hp motor (115 V, 15 A) drives the pad through a maintenance-free, direct-drive transmission. Flex Floor Technology lets the motor pivot to hug the contours of the floor, and a gas spring regulates head pressure for a consistent shine regardless of the operator's experience.
A 75 ft (23 m) safety yellow SuperFlex cord with a hospital-grade plug releases all at once from a rotating cord hook. The SafeStart button works only when the handle is tilted back for use, and the EZ Store folding handle allows compact storage and easy pad changes. The rotomolded machine weighs 85 lb (39 kg) and runs at 62.1 dB A. Unit ships fully tested, inspected and ready for use.
