The Advance Pacesetter 20HD is a heavy-duty, multi-purpose low-speed floor machine for stripping, scrubbing, screening and bonnet cleaning. It turns a 20-inch pad or brush at 175 rpm, driven by a 1.5 hp, 120 V AC motor through an all-metal triple-planetary gear transmission in a sealed gearbox that Advance says requires no maintenance.
The Pacesetter has an all-cast-metal, chrome-plated base, weighs 102 lb (46 kg) and rolls on rubber transport wheels. An ergonomic molded handle protects hands along walls and corners, a red safety-lock switch prevents accidental start-up, and a compression-style lever adjusts handle height. The 50-foot safety yellow super-flex cord reduces tangling and ends in a clear hospital-grade plug.
