It's built for stone, concrete, tile and grout in high-traffic commercial and industrial buildings, with a Leeson 2 HP AC motor driving a Cat ceramic plunger pump that adjusts from 400 to 1350 PSI.
That motor and pump are what separate it from the Pegasus 1200: U.S. Products rates the pump for up to 6,000 hours of run time before a rebuild. Two 3-stage vacuum motors deliver 200 CFM and 100 inches of lift, enough for up to 150 feet of hose, and a 5 GPM auto fill with a 15 GPM auto dump keeps it running without stops to fill or drain.
The trade-offs are weight and power. It weighs 150 pounds, has no heater, and its second cord draws 20 amps, so you need a 20-amp circuit. This listing is the machine only, so plan on a hard-surface tool and hose. For carpet work, a Pro 500 is the closer fit.”

A Leeson 2 HP AC motor, the type used in truck mounts, drives a Cat ceramic plunger pump with adjustable pressure from 400 to 1350 PSI, rated by U.S. Products for 6,000 hours before a rebuild.
Two top-mounted 3-stage vacuum motors in parallel produce 200 CFM and 100 in of lift and support hose runs up to 150 ft. A 5 GPM stainless auto fill feeds the 12 gal solution tank and a 15 GPM auto dump empties the 12.5 gal recovery tank. The machine weighs 150 lb, measures 32 x 24 x 46 in and uses two 25 ft 12/3 cords.
