“The T7 is a compact rider with big tanks: 29 gallons each of solution and recovery on a machine that still turns in a 68.5- to 72.5-inch aisle. It fits schools, airports, retail and light warehouse floors where a walk-behind takes too long but a full-size rider is too big. The tanks open up completely for cleaning, which helps keep sour smells out of a machine that runs every night.

Start with the deck. The 26-inch handles tighter layouts; the 32-inch covers about 25% more floor per hour. Then pick the cleaning method. The conventional package uses your normal detergent. The ec-H2O packages scrub with converted water, and Tennant gives them a higher practical coverage rating: about 39,600 square feet an hour on the 32-inch versus 29,700 conventional. Choose the 360 Ah ec-H2O package if your routes run long and you want the most scrubbing between charges.”

Tennant T7: a micro-rider floor scrubber for large areas and tight spaces

The Tennant T7 is a battery-powered micro-rider floor scrubber with a dual-disc scrub head in a 26 in (650 mm) or 32 in (800 mm) cleaning path and matching 29 gal (110 L) Hygienic® solution and recovery tanks. Tennant designed it to clean both large open areas and tight spaces, and its photos show it at work in airports, schools, warehouses, retail stores and hangars. At 67 dBA it is quiet enough for sound-sensitive buildings, and it can be ordered with ec-H2O NanoClean® technology to reduce detergent and water use. It runs on a 24 V system with four 6 V batteries.

Reading the model numbers: Package numbers ending in 1D have the 26 in deck with two 13 in brushes; numbers ending in 2D have the 32 in deck with two 16 in brushes. The 1000 series is conventional, the 2000 series adds ec-H2O NanoClean{R}, and the 3000 series pairs ec-H2O with the larger 360 Ah battery set.
