“The T390 is for the job that has outgrown a 20-inch scrubber but doesn't have room for a rider. You get a 28-inch dual-disc path and a 17-gallon solution tank in a self-propelled walk-behind that is still maneuverable enough for school hallways, hospital corridors, gyms and retail sales floors. Tennant puts real-world coverage at about 17,800 square feet an hour, so a big floor goes noticeably faster than with a 20-inch machine.
The controls are kept simple, with a low-solution indicator light, and brushes and squeegee blades change without tools. The real decision is batteries. The 150 Ah wet package gives the most capacity, but someone has to water the batteries on a schedule. The 140 Ah sealed AGM package never needs watering, so it is the better fit when no one on the crew owns battery care.”
A 28-inch self-propelled walk-behind scrubber for mid-size floors
The Tennant T390 is a battery-powered, self-propelled walk-behind floor scrubber with a 28 in (70 cm) dual-disc deck, a 17 gal (65 L) solution tank and an 18.5 gal (70 L) recovery tank. It is sized for medium spaces in schools, hospitals, retail stores and similar facilities, and it is built for indoor hard floors. The scrub deck is made of steel, and roller guide wheels help protect the facility.
