“The T2 makes sense when a mop and bucket is no longer cutting it but a full-size scrubber would be overkill. Think convenience stores, restaurant kitchens and dining rooms, clinic hallways, restrooms and small retail floors. The 17-inch deck and compact body get into tight, congested spaces, and at 68 dBA it is quiet enough to run while people are around.
Pad Assist means the pad helps pull the machine forward, so it is easy to push without the cost of a drive motor. The controls are about as simple as it gets: turn it on and squeeze the triggers. Plan on up to 3 hours of scrubbing from a pair of 105 Ah batteries, and charging is just a matter of plugging in the on-board charger at the end of the shift. Tennant estimates about 7,230 square feet an hour of real-world coverage, so if you have much more floor than that to do each shift, step up to a 20-inch machine.”
A compact 17-inch battery floor scrubber for small, congested spaces
The Tennant T2 is a battery-powered walk-behind compact floor scrubber with a 17 in (43 cm) Pad Assist disc deck. Tennant designed it to clean and dry small, congested areas in one pass, and its cordless, quiet design lets crews clean indoor hard floors almost any time. Tennant rates it at up to 20,230 sq ft/hr theoretical maximum, or about 7,230 sq ft/hr of real-world coverage.
