“The Speed Scrub 500 is the big walk-behind in the Nobles line, made for large floors where you want rider-type tank capacity without a rider. A 22.5-gallon solution tank and a 27-gallon recovery tank mean fewer trips to the sink. It is self-propelled, and the propel switch and speed settings sit right at the operator's hands.
Choosing comes down to path width and aisle space. The 26-inch deck is the most maneuverable and fits narrower aisles. The 32-inch deck covers the most floor, up to 35,200 square feet an hour theoretical, but the machine is 33.5 inches wide. The 28-inch is the middle ground. Each width is offered with conventional scrubbing or ec-H2O NanoClean®, which uses electrically converted water in place of most daily floor chemicals. The redesigned squeegee with an integrated P-trap keeps drips off the floor when you lift it, which matters in busy public areas.”

The Nobles Speed Scrub® 500 (SS500) is a battery-powered, self-propelled walk-behind floor scrubber with a dual-disc deck in 26 in (65 cm), 28 in (70 cm) or 32 in (80 cm) widths. It is built for large indoor hard floors, and Nobles rates it for virtually any hard surface condition. It replaces the Speed Scrub 24-32.

Reading the model numbers: Packages ending in 1001D to 1003D scrub with conventional water and detergent. The 2000- and 3000-series packages add ec-H2O NanoClean®, which uses electrically converted water in place of daily cleaning chemicals. Nobles notes it is not suited to every soil, including heavy fats and oils. All packages here ship with 225 Ah lead acid batteries on a 24 V system.
