“The S16 is a step up from the small riders for facilities that sweep a lot of open floor: warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants and parking decks. With both side brushes it covers a 60-inch path, and Tennant rates it at up to 145,200 square feet an hour. It runs on batteries, so there are no fumes or propane tanks indoors, and the filter shaker and multi-stage filters keep dust in the hopper instead of in the air. With the optional lint screen and non-marking skirts it sweeps carpet too.
Choose the S16 package by how you dump and how long you sweep. The low-dump hopper is emptied by hand with an adjustable handle and holds 200 pounds; the powered high-dump version lifts and empties the hopper for you and holds 350 pounds. Base batteries give up to 3.9 hours and the high-capacity option up to 6.5 hours. Add the HEPA stage if fine dust is a concern, and the FOPS-certified overhead guard for the most severe environments.”

The Tennant S16 is a battery-powered compact ride-on sweeper with a 32 in (810 mm) tubular main brush, 20 in (510 mm) side brushes and a 5.3 cu ft (150 L) hopper. MaxPro™ sweeping technology keeps consistent power at the main brush as surfaces and debris change, so it sweeps concrete, tile and carpet indoors and parking and loading dock areas outside. A multi-stage filtration system with a filter shaker contains dust, and fume-free battery operation keeps indoor air clean. Tennant offers it with a manual low-dump hopper or a powered high-dump hopper, with one or two side brushes.
