“The EC2 is a portable canister extractor for the carpet jobs a walk-behind can’t reach: stairs, hallways, offices, hotel rooms and upholstered furniture. A 220-psi pump pushes solution through the stainless steel wand, and a three-stage vacuum pulls it back into a 13.5-gallon recovery tank. The 15-gallon solution tank means fewer trips to the sink, and the 15-foot hoses let you clean a good stretch of carpet before moving the machine.
It runs on cold water and plugs into a standard 15-amp circuit, so it suits crews doing routine deep cleaning and spot work rather than hot-water restoration. If you want the setup that earned the CRI Gold Seal of Approval, add the optional titanium wand. If you need heated water, look at Tennant’s heated canister models instead.”
A 220-psi canister carpet extractor for detail and deep cleaning
The Tennant EC2 is a corded, non-heated canister carpet extractor with a 12-inch floor tool cleaning path. It is used in offices, hotels, schools, healthcare and other commercial buildings for deep cleaning carpet, stairs and upholstery, and for reaching areas where larger walk-behind extractors don’t fit. The canister rolls on casters, and the hoses and wand do the work at the carpet.
