“The B5 is Tennant's 20-inch battery burnisher for buildings that want a high-gloss finish without propane on site. There are no fumes and no cylinders to store, the HEPA dust control catches the fine dust burnishing kicks up, and at 64 dBA it is quiet enough to run in schools and healthcare buildings. The head flips up to 90 degrees, so pad changes don't mean kneeling on the floor.
There are two packages here. The pad-assist B5 with 185 Ah batteries is the lighter, simpler machine, with up to 2 hours of run time and a top rate of about 16,000 square feet an hour. The self-propelled B5 with 225 Ah batteries drives itself, runs up to 2.5 hours and tops out at 20,000 square feet an hour. If you burnish long corridors or more than one floor a night, start with the self-propelled package.”
A 20-inch battery burnisher for high-gloss floors without propane
The Tennant B5 is a battery-powered walk-behind floor burnisher with a 20 in (510 mm) pad turning at 2,100 rpm. Tennant designed it to deliver propane-like gloss on finished hard floors with no exhaust emissions, no propane cylinders to store and handle, and active dust control with HEPA filtration. That makes it a fit for schools, healthcare facilities and other occupied buildings where air quality and noise matter. The compact, double-wall rotomolded body fits on elevators and makes tight turns, and the B5 is ETL listed for the United States and Canada.

Reading the model numbers: Tennant lists 2169127 as the B5 SP, 225AH, OBC and 2169128 as the B5 PBA, 185AH, OBC. SP is self-propel, PBA is pad assist, the number is the battery amp-hour rating and OBC is the onboard charger. Both run a 36 V system.
