“The 6100 is the sweeper to look at when a walk-behind is too slow but a full-size rider won't fit. It is about 32 inches wide, drives through a standard doorway, and runs on batteries with no fumes, so it can sweep inside an occupied building in the morning and a loading dock in the afternoon. The hopper lifts out on its own wheels for dumping, and a filter shaker and multi-stage filters keep the dust in the machine.

Tennant's base 225 Ah battery set is rated for up to 3.4 hours of sweeping. The main choice is side brushes. One side brush gives a 30-inch path for aisles and tighter areas; a second brush widens it to 38 inches for open floors. If you need to sweep carpet, ask about the non-marking tires and carpet brush, and add the HEPA stage if fine dust is the concern.”

A sub-compact battery rider sweeper for tight indoor and outdoor areas

The Tennant 6100 is a battery-powered, sub-compact ride-on floor sweeper with a 22 in (560 mm) tubular main brush, a 16 in (410 mm) side brush and a 3 cu ft (85 L) hopper. Its overthrow broom design picks up a wide range of debris in one pass, and the machine is narrow enough to drive through standard doorways and work in congested spaces. Tennant rates it for both indoor and outdoor use on hard floors, and with the available non-marking tires and carpet brush it also sweeps carpet. Battery operation means no fumes and low noise, so it can run inside occupied buildings.
