“The OB 28/20 is a 28 in traction-drive orbital scrubber for facilities with a lot of hard floor to cover: schools, retail, healthcare, and warehouse or manufacturing floors. The rectangular 28 x 14 in head runs orbital at 3,530 RPM, so it reaches into corners and along walls where a round brush leaves a strip. With the right pad and up to 132 lb of down pressure, it removes floor finish without stripping chemicals, which can change how you handle strip-and-recoat work. The 20 gal solution and 22 gal recovery tanks and the 300 W drive motor, which climbs up to a 10% grade, make long runs easier on the operator.
The two packages are the same machine. Take the version without batteries if you already have a 24 V battery set or want to source your own. The version with batteries is ready to run, and both carry an on-board charger.”

The Tornado OB 28/20 is a 24 V battery walk-behind automatic scrubber with a 28 x 14 in rectangular orbital scrub head, a 20-gallon solution tank and a 22-gallon recovery tank. It scrubs and recovers in one pass for daily cleaning, and its 3,530 RPM orbital action removes floor finish without chemicals while reducing water and chemical use. It is built for large hard floors in schools, retail, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial and manufacturing facilities, and Tornado offers black stripping, blue cleaner, red spray buff and maroon eco pads for it.

Reading the model numbers: TS550-W28-U is the base machine with on-board charger and no batteries. Tornado lists the -UC package with its four-battery lead acid kit.
