“The OB 20/14 is a 20-inch orbital scrubber for crews that want one walk-behind for both daily scrubbing and chemical-free finish removal. Up to 110 pounds of down pressure on a square 20 x 14 inch head lets it take finish off VCT without stripper, and it reaches into corners a round deck leaves behind. Orbital scrubbing also uses less water and chemical day to day, so floors dry faster. The traction drive does the pushing, even up ramps, and the 14-gallon tanks fit schools, clinics, retail and office floors.

There are two ways to buy it here. Choose the package with lead-acid batteries if you want it ready to work when it arrives. Choose the machine without batteries if you already have a 24-volt set or would rather fit AGM or TPPL batteries yourself; the on-board charger comes with both.”

Tornado OB 20/14: a compact orbital walk-behind scrubber with traction drive

The Tornado OB 20/14 (item TS350-W20-U) is a battery-powered, traction-drive walk-behind orbital floor scrubber with a 20 x 14 in rectangular scrub head and 14-gallon solution and recovery tanks. Tornado rates it for up to 110 lb of down pressure at 2,200 rpm, which lets it remove floor finish without chemicals and cut water and chemical use in daily cleaning, for quicker dry times. The square head reaches into corners and along edges for even finish removal across the full cleaning path, and the 400 W traction motor moves the machine up ramps of up to a 10% grade. It fits schools, healthcare, retail and other facilities that scrub and refinish VCT and other hard floors.

Reading the model numbers: Tornado’s base item TS350-W20-U is the machine without batteries. The C suffix adds lead-acid batteries. Tornado also lists AGM (TS350-W20-UG) and TPPL (TS350-W20-UE) battery packages, which SES does not stock on this page.
