“The Battery Glazer 17 is a cordless 17-inch burnisher for facilities that want to polish floors without dragging a cord through occupied space: hospitals, hotels, schools, offices and retail floors. Two 12-volt AGM batteries give up to two hours of run time per charge, and Tornado rates it at 59 dB(A), quiet enough for daytime work.
The batteries and charger are on board, so recharging is a matter of plugging in the cord at the end of the shift, and a battery gauge shows how much run time is left. A 0.6 hp motor drives the pad with about 6 pounds of pad pressure, and a passive dust control system stays in contact with the floor to pick up fine dust as you go. The handle folds for storage, with transport wheels on the back.
Plan on a full overnight charge: Tornado's manual gives about eight hours and warns against short top-up charges. At 141 pounds with a 17-inch pad it suits corridors and mid-size rooms; for large open areas, a wider propane or ride-on burnisher will cover more floor per hour.”

The Tornado Battery Glazer 17 (98494) is a battery-powered high-speed burnisher with a 17-inch pad. Two 12-volt, 55 Ah AGM batteries power a 0.6 hp motor and deliver up to two hours of run time per charge, and Tornado rates productivity at more than 7,500 sq ft per hour. At 59 dB(A), it is suited to daytime work in noise-sensitive spaces.
The batteries and on-board charger come standard, and a battery indicator shows remaining charge; Tornado's manual gives about eight hours for a full charge. An integrated dust control system stays in contact with the floor to capture fine dust while burnishing. The handle folds for storage, transport wheels sit at the back, and a pad holder and pad retainer are included. The machine weighs 141 lb.
