“The EBG-20/C Pivot is a corded orbital floor machine for crews that strip, scrub, sand and polish more than one kind of floor. It runs a 14 x 20 in rectangular pad at 3,450 oscillations per minute, so it gets into corners a round machine leaves behind and works in straight lines along walls. With the right pad it removes finish from VCT without stripping chemicals, scrubs tile and grout, sands wood and polishes stone.
The slotted weights are the reason it moves so easily between jobs. Pull them off for lighter work like encapsulation carpet cleaning or VCT scrubbing, and add them back for stone polishing or wood sanding. Pick the standard version if the machine stays in one building. The two-piece handle is worth a look if the machine rides in a vehicle between sites. If you dry-sand or dry-strip in occupied spaces, look at the EBG-20/CV, which comes with the HEPA dry vac kit installed.”
A 20-inch orbital floor preparation machine for almost any hard floor
The Square Scrub EBG-20/C Pivot is a 115 V corded orbital floor machine with a 14 x 20 in rectangular pad. It is built for chemical-free finish removal, chemical stripping, scrubbing, sanding and polishing. Square Scrub lists tile and grout, VCT (wet or dry), LVT and resilient flooring, wood and gym floors, concrete, terrazzo and stone, plus mastic and linoleum removal and baseboard and stair riser work. The Pivot design attaches the handle to the side of the base instead of the bottom, so the head floats and the operator gets balanced contact and easier control.
