“The ULTIMAXX 1900 Single Disc is the compact end of the ULTIMAXX line, for buildings full of small rooms: restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, clinics and narrow store aisles. The single disc keeps the machine narrow and the turning circle tight, about 3 to 4 feet, and the 11-gallon tanks still cover a good-size area per fill. At 63 dB(A), or 60 in eco mode, it can run during the day around staff and visitors.

Start with the deck size. The 17-inch is the one for restrooms and the tightest spaces; the 20-inch covers more floor per pass in classrooms and corridors. Then pick the battery: gel is sealed and maintenance-free for a single shift, and lithium-ion, especially the 100 Ah pack, is better for longer routes and quick top-up charges. A BMS package adds the on-board charger, so the machine charges from any wall outlet.”

TASKI ULTIMAXX 1900 Single Disc: the most agile ULTIMAXX walk-behind

The TASKI ULTIMAXX 1900 Single Disc is a battery-powered walk-behind floor scrubber dryer with one disc brush, which TASKI says gives excellent agility in its class. It comes with a 17 in (43 cm) or 20 in (50 cm) deck, a 43-liter (11.4-gallon) solution tank and a 45-liter (11.9-gallon) recovery tank, on a 24 V gel or lithium-ion battery system. It suits smaller rooms and congested areas where a wider deck is hard to steer. TASKI rates its disc decks as preferred for smooth stone, vinyl and linoleum and suitable for ceramic tile, structured stone, structured vinyl and concrete; sweep first, because disc decks are not designed to pick up debris.

Reading the model numbers: TASKI names the deck by width in centimeters: SD43 is the 43 cm (17 in) single disc and SD50 the 50 cm (20 in). Gel packages use two 12 V, 76 Ah gel batteries, which are sealed and need no watering; lithium-ion packages use 50 Ah or 100 Ah. BMS packages have TASKI’s on-board charger (TASKI’s manual uses BMS for the on-board charger), so the machine plugs straight into a wall outlet. TASKI builds the 1900 in an Economy version without wheel drive and a Performance version with adjustable wheel drive.
