Then pick the battery: gel is sealed and maintenance-free and suits a single shift, while lithium-ion is the choice for longer runs and quick top-up charges, with the 100 Ah pack giving the most time between charges.”

The TASKI ULTIMAXX 1900 Double Disc is a battery-powered walk-behind floor scrubber dryer with two disc brushes, a 43-liter (11.4-gallon) solution tank and a 45-liter (11.9-gallon) recovery tank. It comes in a 22 in (55 cm) deck with two 11 in brushes or a 26 in (65 cm) deck with two 13 in brushes. It suits daily scrubbing in busy facilities such as healthcare, education, retail and airports. TASKI rates its disc decks as preferred for smooth stone, vinyl and linoleum and suitable for ceramic tile, structured stone, structured vinyl and concrete; sweep first, because disc decks are not designed to pick up debris. Every package here runs on a 24 V gel or lithium-ion battery system.

Reading the model numbers: TASKI names the deck by its width in centimeters: DD55 is the 55 cm (22 in) double disc and DD65 the 65 cm (26 in). Gel packages use two 12 V, 76 Ah gel batteries, which are sealed and need no watering. Lithium-ion packages come with 50 Ah or 100 Ah; the 100 Ah pack gives the longest run time.
