“The TRADITION SC886G is Sanitaire's 12-inch shake-out-bag upright, a straightforward machine for daily carpet care in offices, classrooms, churches and hotel corridors. The 12-inch head works around desks and furniture, and at 15.8 pounds it is manageable to carry between floors.
The 18-quart shake-out bag is the main draw: you empty it and keep going, with no disposable bags to keep in stock. A 7-amp, 840-watt motor rated at 145 CFM and 2,000 hours does the work, the chrome hood and chrome brush roll are built for daily use, and the bristle strips can be replaced without replacing the whole brush roll. The Quick Kleen fan chamber lets you reach the impeller fan to clear clogs.
There are no on-board tools, and at 79 dBA it is not a quiet machine, so it fits after-hours cleaning better than occupied spaces. If you have large open areas, the 16-inch TRADITION Wide Track SC899H covers more floor per pass.”
