New Timberline ISO Orbitz 20" Orbital Floor Buffer
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The ISO Orbitz 20 is Timberline's full-size orbital floor machine, built for stripping, scrubbing and floor prep without chemical stripper. Instead of spinning a round disk, its 1.5 hp motor oscillates a rectangular 20 x 14 in pad. Timberline aims it at schools, arenas, healthcare, grocery, retail and airports, on gym wood, VCT, concrete, stone and tile.
What stands out is how adaptable it is. The machine weighs 144 lb as built and takes add-on weights up to 232 lb total, so down pressure can be matched to the pad and the job, from sand screens and black strip pads to microfiber. Isolators above and below the deck cut vibration before it reaches the operator's hands, and a dust skirt comes standard to keep slurry and dust contained.
The trade-off is size. With a 50 ft cord and at least 144 lb of machine, it belongs on open floors. For stairwells, restrooms and other tight spots, Timberline's 10-inch NANO Orbitz is the better fit.”
A 20-inch orbital floor machine for chemical-free stripping and scrubbing.
The Timberline ISO Orbitz 20 is a corded orbital floor machine with a 20-inch (50.8 cm) cleaning width. A 1.5 hp (1,119 W) motor drives a 20 x 14 in (50.8 x 35.6 cm) pad on a 7-gauge stainless steel scrub head. Timberline says the orbital head strips floors without chemical stripper while cutting water use by up to 70%, and that removing stripper from the process reduces slip-and-fall potential.
The machine weighs 144 lb (65.3 kg) assembled and accepts optional weights up to 232 lb (105.2 kg) total for more down pressure. Four lower and ten upper deck isolators reduce vibration at the padded handlebar. It runs on 120 VAC at 7 amps through a 50 ft, 14-gauge cord, rolls on 6 x 2 in non-marking wheels, comes with a dust skirt and is rated at 69 dBA.
