New ProTeam GoFit 6 Backpack Vacuum

Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)

“The GoFit 6 is the middle of ProTeam's GoFit line and the one to start with for most daily vacuuming. It carries a 6-quart bag at 12 lb, so operators change bags less often than with the 3-quart model without wearing much more weight. The harness adjusts in four steps without tools, which matters when several people share one machine across shifts.

The vacuum is the same in every package, so pick the kit by the floor. The standard Xover kit runs one floor tool across carpet and hard floors. Carpet-heavy buildings do well with the ProBlade carpet tool or a Sidewinder carpet kit, while the 15-inch Sidewinder Kit C or the ProBlade carpet and hard surface kit covers buildings that switch back and forth. The remediation and pest management kits are for specialty contractors. If your crew would like a filter-change reminder, look at the GoFit 6 PLUS.”

A 6-quart corded backpack vacuum with a quick-adjust harness

The ProTeam GoFit 6 is a mid-size corded commercial backpack vacuum for daily vacuuming of carpet and hard floors in offices, schools and other commercial buildings. It weighs 12 lb, holds 6 quarts and moves 153 CFM with 91 in of static lift from a 1,296 W motor. A four-step quick-adjust FlexFit harness lets each operator set the fit without tools, and the ProLevel Filtration System uses four levels of filtration, including HEPA media, to keep fine dust in the machine instead of the air. The 50 ft cord means fewer outlet changes on long routes.

Reading the model numbers: 107696 is ProTeam's standard GoFit 6 package with the Xover Multi-Surface Telescoping Wand Tool Kit D (107100): 14 in Xover multi-surface floor tool, 42–57 in two-piece, two-bend telescoping wand, 17 in crevice tool, 3 in dust brush and 5 in upholstery tool. Kit B (107098) uses a two-piece wand and Kit C (107099) is the Xover Performance telescoping version. 107749 and 107750 pair the Xover floor tool with just a two-piece (101338) or telescoping (107628) wand. Every package is the same GoFit 6 vacuum; only the tools change.

Features:

• Four-step FlexFit articulating harness with numbered touchpoints for a tool-free, customized fit
• ProLevel Filtration System with four levels and 1,054 sq in of filter area; HEPA media captures 99.8% at 0.3–0.5 microns per ASTM F3150
• Hinged lid with a single quick-release die-cast aluminum latch for one-hand filter changes
• Close-fitting, lower triangular profile so operators bump into fewer objects
• Uses the same 107314 Intercept Micro filter bags as the Super Coach Pro 6 and ProVac FS 6
