Its 21-inch head and 708cc, 19 hp engine turn a strip brush at 540 to 1,080 rpm, and Onyx rates it at up to 8,000 square feet per hour. The 21-inch size keeps it maneuverable around fixtures and in tighter spaces.
What stands out is the job-site setup. An on-board 8-gallon gravity-feed water tank keeps solution at the head, a headlight lights the work area, and the engine fires with a 12-volt electric start. Onyx also builds in its SAM Safe Air Monitor for real-time emissions monitoring, which matters when a propane machine runs indoors. A 20 lb cylinder runs about 6 hours.
