"High-Gloss shine is produced on floor finish with heat. The plastic in the product is burnished to harden it and bring about the mirror shine everyone looks for. This is the case with VCT and polished concrete flooring with sealers. While battery and corded burnishers will work to a point, nothing can accomplish this task like a propane-powered burnisher. I would recommend the Onyx JX series burnisher. It is affordable, dependable and typically available. Equipped with the Kawasaki 18HP, this 21", 24" or 27" buffer is the one you want. All three sizes also include a new 20 gallon steel tank as well."
A 21-inch propane burnisher with a floating dust shroud
The Onyx JX1 is the 21-inch version of the Onyx JX propane floor burnisher, a walk-behind, pad-assist machine for high-speed burnishing of vinyl tile, terrazzo and concrete floors. Onyx rates the 21-inch head at up to 24,000 square feet per hour. A patented floating shroud contains dust to keep shelves clean and operators safe, and the EPA-certified propane engine runs on Onyx's variable jet fuel system. Each JX runs about six hours on a 20 lb propane cylinder and starts with a 12-volt electric starter.

Reading the model numbers: In Onyx JX model numbers, JX1 is the 21 in head. 600 is the LX600 603cc Kawasaki engine and 700 the LX700 708cc Onyx engine. P marks the package with dust collection, emission monitoring and a clutch.
