“The Ambassador 20 is built for big carpeted spaces where one person has to cover a lot of square footage: hotel ballrooms and corridors, office floors, schools and churches. It sprays, scrubs and extracts in one pass across a 20-inch path, and the 25-gallon solution and recovery tanks mean fewer stops to refill and dump.
Self-propulsion is the big difference from a push-style extractor. The drive moves the machine, so the operator steers instead of muscling it across carpet, and the 43-inch turning radius helps at the end of each row. The 100 psi pump and 2 hp, three-stage vacuum do the cleaning, and the pivoting, spring-loaded vac shoe disengages when you back up.
It is corded, so the 75-foot cord means no batteries to maintain but also a cord to manage and outlets to plan around. It is a large machine for open areas; for stairs, upholstery or small offices, add the optional wand and hose or look at a portable extractor instead.”

The Minuteman Ambassador 20 is a self-propelled, walk-behind carpet extractor that sprays, scrubs and extracts in one pass across a 20-inch (51 cm) cleaning path. It runs on a 75-foot (23 m) 14-3 power cord, so there are no batteries to charge or maintain. The solution and recovery tanks each hold 25 gallons (95 L) and are rotationally molded polyethylene.
A 4-inch brush agitates the carpet while a 100 psi solution pump feeds four quick-disconnect jets. A 2 hp, three-stage vacuum motor produces 105 inches of waterlift and 100 CFM through a 20-inch stainless steel vacuum shoe that pivots, is spring-loaded and disengages in reverse. Minuteman lists a 43-inch turning radius, and a scrub wand, upholstery tool, ET tool and hoses are optional.
