“The Ambassador Jr. is a compact self-contained carpet extractor for hotel rooms, classrooms, healthcare corridors and offices, where a portable box unit with a wand is slow and a full-size walk-behind is too big. It sprays, brushes and extracts in one pass across a 14-inch path, with 6-gallon solution and recovery tanks and a 50 psi pump.
It is built for steady daily work. The polyethylene body won't dent or rust, the three spray jets twist off for cleaning, and a stainless steel strainer protects the pump. A 1 hp, 2-stage vacuum pulls 85 inches of water lift, the helical brush turns at 1,800 rpm, and a float shutoff protects the vacuum motor. Brush pressure adjusts at the back against a gauge, and an auxiliary pump switch runs an optional upholstery tool.
Know the trade-offs. Six gallons means frequent refills on large rooms, and the operator pulls the machine backward by hand. For bigger open carpet, Minuteman's 17-inch X17 or the self-propelled Ambassador 20 covers ground faster.”

The Minuteman Ambassador Jr. is a self-contained carpet extractor that sprays cleaning solution, agitates the carpet with a brush and vacuums the water back up in one pass. It cleans a 14-inch (36 cm) path and carries 6-gallon (23 L) solution and recovery tanks. A 50 psi pump feeds three quick-disconnect spray jets, and the helical cylindrical brush turns at 1,800 rpm.
A 1 hp, 2-stage vacuum motor delivers 85 inches (2,159 mm) of water lift, and an automatic float shutoff protects it. The non-conductive control panel has separate vacuum, brush and pump switches, a 3-way solution switch for continuous or momentary spray, and an auxiliary pump switch for accessory tools. The body is non-corrosive polyethylene, Viton seals resist newer chemicals, and the plugs are hospital grade.
