New Minuteman A3S Air Mover
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The A3S is a compact, stackable air mover for drying carpet after extraction, speeding up drying after wet cleaning and handling small water cleanups. Its sealed 1/3 HP motor moves up to 1,050 CFM across three speeds, and at 24.2 pounds it is easy to carry from job to job.
The low 2.9-amp draw is the practical win. With GFCI protection on board, Minuteman rates the A3S to daisy-chain three to four units, so you can run a row of them from one outlet. Minuteman's manual says to keep the total on the GFCI outlet at 12 amps or less and to start daisy-chained units one at a time. Controls are protected, the ABS housings stack for transport and storage, and the unit is ETL certified.
The trade-off is reach and output. The cord is 25 feet, and Minuteman says not to use an extension cord or adapter, so plan outlet locations before you set up. For large water-damage jobs that call for more airflow per unit, a higher-CFM air mover may fit better.”
A stackable 3-speed air mover that daisy-chains on a 2.9-amp draw.
The Minuteman A3S is a 3-speed air mover with a sealed 1/3 HP motor that produces up to 1,050 CFM. It runs on 115 volts, 60 Hz, and draws 2.9 amps, which lets operators daisy-chain three to four units with its GFCI protection. The housing is ABS, the controls are protected, and the unit is ETL certified.
At 24.2 pounds (11 kg) and 16.25 x 20 x 18.5 inches, the A3S is sized to carry and stack for transport and storage. A 25-foot power cord is standard. Minuteman's manual calls for plugging into a GFCI outlet without an extension cord or adapter, testing the GFCI before use, and starting daisy-chained units one at a time.
