New Minuteman E2830 Cylindrical Automatic Scrubber
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The E2830 is the cylindrical member of Minuteman’s large walk-behind family, built on the same platform as the E3030 and E3330 disc models. Pick it over the disc machines when floors have grout lines, texture or loose grit. The two 850 RPM cylindrical brushes work into grout and textured surfaces, and the integrated sweeping function picks up small debris as you scrub, so there is less need to sweep first. The offset brush deck also lets you clean close to walls.
With a 28-inch path, traction drive and 30-gallon tanks, it is built for large floors in warehouses, manufacturing, schools and big-box retail where a walk-behind still makes sense. Choosing a package comes down to batteries: E2830QP ships with flooded batteries that need periodic watering, and E2830QPG uses sealed AGM batteries for less battery maintenance. Both include the on-board charger and a 28-inch cylindrical brush set.”
A 28-inch cylindrical walk-behind floor scrubber for large areas
The Minuteman E2830 (marketed as the E28) is a 28-inch cylindrical brush automatic floor scrubber, the largest cylindrical model in Minuteman’s E Series walk-behind line. Its corrosion-resistant cast aluminum deck scrubs and sweeps in one pass while the traction drive carries 30-gallon solution and recovery tanks. It fits warehouses, manufacturing plants, schools, retail and other large facilities, and it cleans sealed concrete, ceramic and quarry tile, VCT and other hard floors, including grouted and textured surfaces.
Reading the model numbers: QP (Quick Pack) packages ship with batteries, a 28-inch cylindrical brush set and the on-board charger. A G on the end means sealed AGM batteries instead of flooded batteries.
Features:
- Cylindrical deck with integrated sweeping, cast from corrosion-resistant aluminum
- Offset brush deck cleans close to walls
- Traction drive with dial speed control and a parabolic squeegee that needs no operator adjustment
- Tool-free brush and squeegee removal and one-button operation
- On-board charger, and the machine won’t run while plugged in
