New Minuteman E24 Cylindrical Automatic Scrubber
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The E24 sits in the middle of Minuteman’s walk-behind lineup, and its cylindrical deck is the reason to pick it. The deck has an integrated sweeping function, so small debris is picked up as the two cylindrical brushes scrub instead of being pushed ahead of the squeegee. That makes it a strong match for grouted tile, textured or uneven floors, and areas where sand and grit show up, like kitchens, entryways, warehouses and production floors.
It is traction driven, so the operator steers and sets the speed with a dial rather than pushing, and the 19-gallon solution tank covers a lot of floor between fills. Choosing a package is mostly about batteries. E24QP ships with flooded batteries that need periodic watering. E24QPG uses sealed AGM batteries for buyers who would rather skip that maintenance. Both packages include the on-board charger and a set of cylindrical brushes.”
A 24-inch cylindrical walk-behind scrubber with integrated sweeping
The Minuteman E24 is a 24-inch cylindrical brush automatic floor scrubber in Minuteman’s E Series of walk-behind scrubbers. Its corrosion-resistant cast aluminum deck carries two cylindrical brushes that scrub and sweep in the same pass, and the traction drive moves the machine at up to 3.1 mph. It is sized for mid-size facilities such as schools, healthcare, retail, food service and light industrial buildings, and it cleans sealed concrete, ceramic and quarry tile, VCT, vinyl and other hard floors, including grouted and textured surfaces.
Reading the model numbers: QP (Quick Pack) packages ship with batteries, a cylindrical brush set and the on-board charger. A G on the end means sealed AGM batteries instead of flooded batteries.
Features:
- Cast aluminum cylindrical deck with integrated sweeping resists corrosion
- Traction drive with dial speed control; parabolic squeegee standard
- Squeegee needs no operator adjustment, and brushes and squeegee come off without tools
- On-board charger, and the machine won’t run while plugged in
- One-button operation, adjustable handle and an easy-to-clean, hygienic recovery tank
