New Minuteman 747 Battery Wide Area Vacuum
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The 747 is a wide-area vacuum for big carpeted spaces in hotels, schools and other institutions, healthcare and industrial facilities. A 29.5-inch path and a 9-cubic-foot bag let one operator cover a lot of carpet, with Minuteman rating it at up to 25,000 square feet an hour, and fewer stops to empty. The helical brush stays on the carpet and moves debris toward the inlet, and the needle felt bag filters to 95% at 5 microns.
The main choice is power. The battery 747 runs on 24 volts with no cord to manage, which helps in occupied spaces and where outlets are far apart, and it comes standard with a static-free conductive nylon brush. The 115-volt electric 747E is the pick if you would rather never think about charging. If you already have compatible batteries, the battery machine is also offered here without them.”
A 29.5-inch walk-behind wide area vacuum for large carpeted areas
The Minuteman 747 is a walk-behind wide area vacuum with a continuous-duty blower and brush motor that move more than 200 cubic feet of air per minute. It is designed mainly for carpet, but Minuteman notes it also performs very well on hard floors for sand, dust and paper. It is not meant for metal shavings or similar debris. A side lever adjusts the brush for different carpet.
