“The NT 68/1 is the vac you roll out when there’s real water on the floor: stripping slurry in a school hallway, a flooded mechanical room, or a gym after a roof leak. The 28-inch squeegee rides on the front, so you push the machine across the floor and the water goes straight into an 18-gallon tank. That’s much quicker than working a wand across a big room.
When it’s full, you drain it without tipping the tank, and the 50-foot cord lets you cover a lot of floor before you move outlets. Both packages here have the same machine and squeegee. Choose the package with tools if you also want a hose, crevice nozzle and floor nozzle for corners, drains and spot pickup. Choose the squeegee-only package if you mainly use it for open-floor water recovery and already have tools.”
An 18-gallon wet/dry vacuum with a front-mounted squeegee
The Kärcher NT 68/1 is a corded commercial wet/dry vacuum for medium to large water-recovery jobs. Its front-mounted, self-adjusting squeegee picks up water from hard floors such as VCT, sealed concrete, tile and terrazzo after scrubbing, stripping or flooding. It is used in schools, hospitals, warehouses, retail stores and facility maintenance shops. The tank drains completely without tipping, and the 50 ft cord, large rear transport wheels and front swivel casters let one operator cover a large area. A drip tray and a safety-sign bracket keep the machine ready between jobs.
