“The NT 48/1 is the wet/dry vac you keep in the custodial closet for the jobs a mop or an upright can’t handle: a flooded restroom, a leaking cooler, scrubber slurry left in a corner, or drywall dust after a remodel. At about 23 lb, one person can lift it into a truck or carry it up a flight of stairs, and the drain hose means you don’t have to tip the tank to empty it.
Picking between the two packages comes down to how much water you pick up. The standard package comes with wands, a floor nozzle and a crevice tool, which covers spills, dust and general cleanup. If you’re regularly pulling water off open floors after stripping, flooding or a burst pipe, choose the front-squeegee version. You push it like a squeegee and the vac pulls the water in behind it, so you aren’t working a wand across the room.”
A 13-gallon commercial wet/dry vacuum for wet and dry pickup
The Kärcher NT 48/1 is a corded commercial wet/dry vacuum with a 48-liter (12.7-gallon) tank. It picks up non-combustible liquids, fine and coarse dust, wood chips and debris. Schools, hospitals, building service contractors, auto dealers, repair shops, industrial sites and municipal facilities use it on hard floors, carpet edges, entry areas and shop floors.
