“Electric cold-water pressure washers are the right fit anywhere exhaust fumes aren’t welcome: food plants, kitchens, dock areas, wash bays, parking decks and indoor equipment cleaning. Kärcher’s HD aluminum carts have a weld-free, corrosion-resistant aluminum frame, flat-free tires and a bypass loop that protects the pump when the trigger is released. Add the skid feet accessory and the same unit converts from a cart to a skid mount.
Start with the power you have and the job you’re doing. The three Ed models run on 120 V. The HD 2.0/1000 Ed works on a standard 15-amp circuit for light, everyday washing. The HD 1.9/1300 Ed adds pressure for tougher soil, and the HD 3.0/1000 Ed moves more water to rinse large areas faster. Both need a 20-amp circuit. If you have a 230 V single-phase outlet, the HD 3.5/2000 Ea delivers the most pressure and flow in the series for heavy equipment and greasy surfaces.”

The Kärcher HD aluminum series are commercial electric cold-water pressure washers with direct-drive pumps on a weld-free aluminum frame. They are used for food processing, foodservice, facility maintenance, fleet and equipment cleaning on concrete, sidewalks, dock plates, walls, vehicles and machinery, indoors or out.

Reading the model numbers: The first number is the flow in gallons per minute, and the second is the operating pressure in psi. For example, HD 2.0/1000 delivers 2.0 gpm at 1,000 psi. All four are single-phase, direct-drive machines. The Ed models plug into 120 V, and the HD 3.5/2000 Ea needs a 230 V circuit.
