“The Commodore DUO is for carpet-heavy buildings that want one machine to cover both jobs. Most nights you run it in interim mode to clean and groom traffic lanes quickly; when the carpet needs restoring, turn the switch to extraction and it sprays, scrubs and pulls the solution back out. Owning one machine instead of an encapsulation machine plus an extractor saves storage space and training time, and at 63 dBA it can run while the building is occupied.
Every package here is the same machine; the choice is batteries. The 130 Ah wet set suits smaller floors and shorter runs. Step up to 225 Ah wet for longer runs between charges, or take the 234 Ah AGM set if nobody wants to water batteries.”
One battery carpet machine for interim cleaning and deep extraction
The Kärcher Commodore™ DUO is a battery-powered, self-propelled carpet extractor that combines deep extraction and interim encapsulation cleaning in one machine. With the turn of a switch it changes from extraction to interim cleaning, so a facility can replace two machines with one, or add productive interim cleaning between scheduled deep extractions to improve carpet appearance. Two counter-rotating brushes scrub a 20-inch path, and Kärcher notes that it operates at only 63 dBA, which suits daytime cleaning.

Reading the model numbers: Kärcher names these Commodore DUO + 130 Ah Wet (1.008-002.0), + 225 Ah Wet (1.008-003.0) and + AGM (1.008-004.0, 234 Ah AGM). Package 1.008-658.0 is also listed in Kärcher's Commodore DUO operator manual.
