It is only 52 inches long with a 20-inch deck, so it goes where a 20-inch walk-behind goes, but the operator sits down for the whole shift. Kärcher rates it at 18,830 square feet an hour in practical use, and the Home Base rack keeps mops and spray bottles on board for touch-ups.
Two choices make up the package. Pick the disc brush for grout lines and textured tile, or the pad driver for smooth, sealed floors and a cleaner finish. Then pick wet batteries if your crew already waters batteries, or AGM if you want sealed, maintenance-free batteries.”
A compact 20-inch ride-on scrubber with walk-behind agility
The Kärcher BD 50/70 R Bp is a battery-powered ride-on floor scrubber for tight, congested areas that still need ride-on productivity, such as retail stores, hotel lobbies and offices. At 52 inches long it is the most compact ride-on scrubber in the Kärcher line, with a 20-inch disc deck, an 18-gallon solution tank and a 20-gallon recovery tank. Kärcher rates it at 18,830 square feet per hour in practical use, and the comfortable seat is designed for full shifts. It runs a disc brush or a pad driver on smooth or textured hard floors.
