The Kärcher BD 50/55 W Bp Classic (9.998-002.0) is a battery-powered walk-behind scrubber with a single 20-inch disc deck and traction drive. It comes with 24 V, 100 Ah AGM batteries and a shelf charger, 14.5-gallon solution and recovery tanks, and a 33.5-inch parabolic squeegee. Kärcher rates its productivity at 27,500 sq ft/hr theoretical and 17,500 sq ft/hr practical.
The scrub deck and squeegee assembly are die-cast aluminum. The brush turns at 180 rpm with 59 lb of brush pressure, and the 65 dBA operating noise level is one Kärcher points to for cleaning in occupied schools and hospitals. A compact four-wheel chassis helps in tight healthcare and retail spaces, and the machine accepts Kärcher's Home Base kit for carrying manual cleaning tools.
