“The KM 170/600 R D Classic is an industrial ride-on sweeper for heavy, dirty work: foundries, building materials and metalworking plants, construction sites and large yards or warehouses. It sweeps a 53 in path with the main broom and 67 in with the standard side broom, and it lifts and dumps a 158 gal hopper hydraulically from up to 60 in.
What stands out is how it handles fine dust along with coarse debris. It is a direct-throw sweeper with a floating main broom, and its two flat pleated filters clean themselves automatically every 10 minutes, which helps in heavy dust and extends filter life. The 24.8 hp Kubota diesel meets EPA Tier 4 Final, the drive is fully hydraulic, and the main broom and filters change without tools.
Keep in mind it is built for outdoor and heavy industrial use; it runs at 82 dB(A) on diesel, so it is not meant for occupied indoor spaces. The base machine has no overhead guard or cab, which are factory-installed options, so specify those up front if your site requires them.”

The Kärcher KM 170/600 R D Classic (9.800-891.0) is a fully hydraulic, diesel-powered ride-on sweeper with a 53 in floating main broom and a 25.6 in side broom for a 67 in sweeping path, or 79 in with the optional left side broom. Its direct-throw system sends coarse debris and fine dust into a 158 gal container that lifts hydraulically and dumps at up to 60 in.
A Kubota V1505 four-cylinder diesel rated at 18.5 kW (24.8 hp) meets EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V. The sweeper travels at up to 8.7 mph, climbs grades up to 18% and turns in an 8.3 ft radius.
